Being an avid hippo lover ( I have over 300 ) I decided to create parodies of famous works of art using a hippo as the main subject. These have been exhibited in galleries along with a contest to see if viewers can identify the title and artist of the original work of art that inspired each parody. All were created with watercolor, colored pencil, and a sense of humor. Apologies to the original artists!
